Testing Requirements
TESTING APPLIES TO ALL BIRDS ENTERING SHOW BARN
BOTH FROM WITHIN VIRGINIA AND OUT OF STATE. CHECK THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW BASED ON WHERE YOUR FLOCK LIVES.
Out-Of-State
Must be:
A. CURRENT NPIP Active Status OR
B. Originate from a flock certified Pullorum FREE OR
C. Tested NEGATIVE for Pullorum Typhoid within 30 days of the show
AND
Tested and cleared of Avian Influenza within fourteen (14) days of show
Proof of one from (A/B/C) AND AI Testing is required before any of your birds enter the show barn. Documents can be sent to the show secretary via email ahead of time to speed up the process. Otherwise you will have to submit them at check-in. This can delay your check-in and therefore cooping in so plan accordingly.
Like most states that require testing to exhibit, we are required to keep these on file and submit a copy of your out-of-state exhibitor testing paperwork must be sent to the Virginia State Vet to comply the state requirements for us to provide this show.
In-State
CURRENT NPIP Active Status OR
Tested NEGATIVE for Pullorum Typhoid within 90 days of the show
Required to show proof of testing and clear required
Documentation can be submitted before the show via email or at check-in by STATE VET
